repo to install k3b on Ubuntu 7.10 desktop x86_64

Ubuntu 7.10 desktop amd64


I can't find k3b on repo. Please advise where can I get k3b. TIA

down loade k3b untar /configure ./make sudo make install

I wonder why k3b in NOT on repo of Ubuntu 7.10 desktop amd64. It is a desktop version burning CD/DVD being esential but w/o a front-end package. I'll leave it. Following packages are running;

dvd+rw-tools
mkisofs

I can burn DVD+RW on command lines. I don't know whether it works on DVD-RW. I'll test it later.

i was sure that it was in the univerce repo,

go to system > administration >software sources and make sure that the univerce ropo is ticked, (only the canonical supported stuff is ticked by default)

it should then be avalable in synaptic
