Rename Partition Mount

Hi, I am using Ubuntu 11.10. I created a partition on my harddrive to keep all my personal files. When it mounts it does so at /media/(a bunch of long numbers). I would like to rename it so that it mounts to something easier to remember and navigate to in the terminal. How can I do this?

You can change this in fstab. Follow the link below to an Ubuntu-specific tutorial about fstab. You really want to learn this part.
