Remote Access to Ubuntu from Windows

Hello,

I would like to connect to my Ubuntu Linux Machine with my windows XP box. I have installed realVNC and it works until the Linux box is rebooted - how can I set up the Linux box to always be accessible? What is the best method? Regardless of reboots/power outages.

you can put the command to start the vnc in your rc.local(or whatever its called in ubuntu).
i would suggest going through ssh though as its a bit more secure. just ssh into it and turn
the vnc server on.

just execute vncserver in the terminal
