Python help

hay=)

i am learning python, and i have loads of questions so i started new thread

I' am using latest version of Ubuntu, but it was the same on the old one

When I write a Python program I can easily run it in IDLE, but when i try to run it in terminal it just doesn't work.

I type that:

Quote:
/media/sda1/programs/program.py
And get that:

Quote:
: command not founds/program.py: line 2:
/media/sda1/programs/program.py: line 3: syntax error near unexpected token `('
'media/sda1/programs/program.py: line 3: `number = float(raw_input("Give number: "))
Does anyone have a clue what's going on?

Have you tried going to the right directory and then typing python program.py in the terminal? I was having a similar problem and that got me started, anyway.
