I succesfuly upgraded (not freshly installed) 6.10 over 6.06 last week. Everything seemed fine as far as hard/software interaction but I have had 2 problems with specific programs
1)Nautilus appears to be completely broken as I get the error msg: “ The applicatio “nautilus” has quit unexpectedly” shortly after I try to start it.
2)Gnome menu bars will not properly change position. After before/during the update i decided to play around with the menus for something to do and got it stuck in the middle of the screen. Now, when I drag to try to move them they're stuck.
If anyone else has had these problems please let me know how you went about fixing them.
Otherwise, is there anything special I need to do in order to reinstall 6.06, or can I just put in the cd and restart?
If you want to replace the upgraded dapper to edgy with dapper, you'll just need to reinstall on top. If you have a different home partition it'll be a quick move. You could also do this with Edgy and get a fresh install.
