problem with wireless


hello im posting because i been having problems with ubuntu 8.04...
at first i made a post yesterday about my my video card.... but it finally got solved installing the other ubuntu system "Standard personal computer (x86 architecture, PentiumTM, CeleronTM, AthlonTM, SempronTM)"
.... after i installed the system my video card problem got solved but my wireless card didn't.... like i say i have an hp pavilion dv6000
and its using a atheros wireless card...
is there something so i can get wireless on this laptop?

Can you post the result of

iwconfig
when your card is ON?
Have you just installed the drivers for your wireless card?
