ppc ubuntu live cd problem
 

I have burned the iso image of breezy badger to a cd for live. I boot it up by holding c down at the opening screen. a red background screen then asks me certain questions. after everything is done installing the screen changes to black with the ubuntu logo. oks scroll down the screen and when the blue bar below the logo is filled it goes to a blank black screen with a small white vertical line at the top. I left it for ten minutes and nothing happens. I've gone through the process several times and the same thing occurs.
I am a noob at linux so i need some help

No solution but I used a Kubuntu Warty livecd for PPC and it boot without problems. Only issue I had was no sound.

Try Warty and see if you have same problems. Breezy is in beta stage, so it will be problems/issues.

thanks I tryed it and it works great. Do you know of any other ppc distros of linux like knoppix because I haven't found one yet

Debian of course has a ppc edition, though I can't say how it compares to Ubuntu ppc.

Perhaps someone who has used both will offer thier opinion.

And the venerable Yellow Dog of course, does anyone still use it?

Was one of the earliest and best ppc distro's.
