Red face pidgin not working in ubuntu


i have ubuntu 8.04 installed in my lap using wubi and i m able to connect to internet. in my cllg we have to connect through a proxy server which requires authentication. i have entered proxy settings in pidgin but on connecting to google server(gtalk) the folowing error is coming:
Code:
could not establish connection with the server:
Access denied: HTTP proxy server forbids pot 5222 tunneling

hey everyone i got the solution to the prblem myself.

Use the following settings

Force old (port 5223) SSL: Checked
Allow plaintext auth over unencrypted streams: Un-Checked
Connect Port: 443
Connect Server: talk.google.com
Proxy type: Use Gnome Proxy Settings

Hope this help other guys and gals too.
