Make a directory in /media on which you want to mount your pen drive (i.e. "sudo mkdir /media/pendrive"). You should be able to mount it now with "sudo mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /media/pendrive". If you want, you can add "/dev/sda1 /media/pendrive vfat defaults, user 0 0" to your /etc/fstab to make mounting faster (i.e. "sudo mount /dev/sda1"). All this assumes your pen drive is formated with FAT12, FAT16, or FAT32 (replace "vfat" with whatever filesystem you are using in the above instructions if needed).
