PCI pointing to wrong slot..or BUS..w/e

Hey everyone, I'm really new to Linux and Ubuntu so i just need to know EXACTLY how to change where the PCI BUS points, when i load up the LiveCD OR install it points to PCI:0:2:0 i need it to point to PCI:1:10:0, how would i go about doing this? thanks.

BTW, when i try Sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg and i change it, it says the format for it isn't right...i dont get this because it worked ONCE maybe im doing something different/wrong >_< any help would be awesome.
