Panel stays hidden
 

Right after entering my password and KDE is setting up the desktop, I see the panel, however as the desktop setup continues, the pannel goes into hidding. I had set the panel hidding to Instataneous as I always have in previous installations, and it had been working fine, but now I have nothing but the right click "log out" popup menu.

This is Kubuntu edgy. Since I have nothing to work with, other then whats on this "log 0ut" menue. Do I have to re-install it?

I have looked at the similar "lost panel" threads but they don't fit this case.

I re-booted again, and when the planel flashed on I caught it with a quick mouse click and was able to get to the "Panel Configuration" menu and take the hinding out. I will try 1 second hide tomorrow.
