ntrconnect how to uninstall ????

I installed NTRCONNECT (www.ntrconnect.com), which is supposed to work as logmein, nonetheless IMHO it doesn't do the job at all.

Now, I want to get rid of it, and I can't (don't know how)

It came with an installer, which doesn't have an uninstall option, and the application isn't listed in the package manager.

There is only one piece of information pertaining uninstall in one of their documents in the website, and make no reference to how to do it, only says it is "supposedly" available.

how do I uninstall it?

thanks,

VampX

run the installer again and see where it installs it, maybe its under /opt/ntrconnect or something, then just delete the folder contains the program.

in other case run "which <ntrconnect program name>" and see where the executable files are (probably /usr/bin), and delete them manually (this wont be a full uninstall though...)

I was trying to do the exact same thing and I found an uninstall option on the preferences for the computer on the website.

So goto ntrconnect's website, log in, on the website go to the preferences of the computer you want to uninstall and there should be a list of commands/tasks that you can perform, select uninstall.

It then removes itself from the linux machine. Kinda neat, but also very disconcerting.

Also, NTRConnect sucks...
