No Network after Reboot

I just installed Ubuntu Dapper Drake Flight 6 on my computer and when I rebooted my machine the network doesnt work. I was using Gaim and Firefox just fine before also. When I run ifconfig this comes up

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:0B:DB:2F:5C:2F
UP BORADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueueln:1000
RX bytes:0 (0.0 b> TX bytes:0 (o.o b)
Interrupt:201

lo Link encap: Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask 255.0.0.0
innet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
RX packets:13 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:13 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueueln:0
RX bytes:672 (672.0 b) TX bytes:672 (672.0 b)

I'm not really sure if this will help at all.Is there some network config program in Ubuntu like there is in Slackware? Thanks for any help you give.

Assuming you're using Ubuntu and not KUbuntu,

System>Administration>Networking

I tryed System>Administration>Networking but when I try using DHCP ot a static IP it still didn't work. Does any one else have any ideas?

Ok, are you using dhcp or a static IP? Your last post was a tad confusing.
