newbie, I need SMTP server

Just installed Ubuntu and it looks great. However I istalled a regular version (not server), so I lost my SMTP server. How to add SMTP server? Can you provide apt or othe command? I need the siplest one and I do not need to read e-mails.

well you'd just apt-get it again, and i *think* ubuntu, i.e. debian would use exim. so "apt-get install exim" mind you what does the simplest one mean??? what do you want it to actaully DO? if it's just sending stuff out, then actually you'd possibly not want a real SMTP server at all, just a simulation of one, e.g. ssmtp or esmtp.

Right, I need just send stuff out. How will it look in this case? Like apt-get install esmtp? Where can I get full list of packages? I want to install ssh service and cvs client too. Thank you for your help.
