nautilus cd/dvd creator (on 6.06 dapper)

I get a message about insufficient space when I try to burn a dvd.
My root partition has about 2.3g free, I'm trying to burn about 4.4g, and it complains of a shortfall of about 2.1g (2000 odd MiB).
I'm guessing it wants to stage off my root partition.
I've got lots of small system partitions (suse, fc, ubuntu), and some nice big data partitions with lots of space - all on internal disks.
I thought that was the right way to set it up, so I could install new systems without damaging my user stuff (mail, documents, photos, music, etc).

How do I persuade it to use another partition for interim staging, or to burn direct from source?
Or is there another tool that would allow me to do that?

Thanks
Chris

Use k3b instead, which will allow you to specify the temporary storage location as per your need.
