My Wifi card shut up the system

Hello all,

Thanks for try to help me in advance.

I've installed an Ubuntu 6.10 distribution on an Acer Aspire 5630. The problem I have experienced is that when I enable the Wifi card, the system has no sound. If I unable it and restart using the Ethernet, then I have sound.

Somebody knows why occurs ot at least how to fix it.

Thanks.

Best reagrads.

Hi again,

Sorry, I've forgotten to add the wifi card details:

Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG

Thanks
