mplayer as default
 

How can I make mplayer as default player for web pages in Edgy.

Problem solved

The problem is not completely solved. the mplayer open embebed on web page but stops without play? What can I do?

If I copy the link and open mplayer then its plays fine... Is this a firefox problem?

I have to do this with some videos but not all. Its kinda strange actually. For instance, Break.com, some videos will play in the browser no problem, others, I have to cut/paste the URl as you did...

I don't think its a Firefox issue, but I guess it could be. My guess is, if you see the "Mplayer plug in loading" when you click on the file, its not.

I've always had some problems with MPlayer. Sometimes the file loads but I click on play and it says getting playlist, then stops, click, then stops...
