mobile broadband (3G) traffic monitor

Hi!

I'm in need of a widget/gadget/application for Ubuntu 12.04, which can act as a traffic monitor and traffic statistic collecter for a NIC device and can show the downloaded/uploaded bytes, lo and behold warn me at a preset value to be easily able to watch over my mobile traffic in regard to my data plan.
It would be great if it could show up at the top bar in Unity (maybe near the network manager icon).

Any advice/help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Daniel

I have not tried any of them and I don't know if they have alert facility.
