Missing kernel module - how to compile modules?

Hi,

I deleted accidentally some of the required kernel modules. That was the ndiswrapper. Without it I have NO chance to get my bcmwl4318 WiFi card working. What do I have to do to get that back? I used rm so no no way to get the files back. Di I have to recompile the whole kernel with all it's stuff or is it possible just to get those 2 files somehow? Like posting them here? (^_^)

Thanx so much in advance

Just use the package manager (Synaptic) to re-install the packages with the files you deleted. This appears to be linux-image-* for ndiswrapper.ko (according to http://packages.ubuntu.com).

I think the topic is a bit unfortunate, though. People might be searching for something like the Kernel Build HOWTO in this thread, so I posted the link.
