MD5SUM changes
I downloaded ubuntu-5.10-install-powerpc.iso for my Mac G3 and I md5summed it. The first time, it returned the wrong md5sum. I did it again to see what would happen. The second time it was correct! Every digit. What's the deal here? Why would it change?

It may not have finished completely downloading. Try it a couple more times and see if you get the same result.

I re-downloaded it 4 times from 2 different servers. Same result. Average download speed overall was about 300 Kb.

I just downloaded the iso to my windows machine. It was right on the first try. Is it possible that the MD5SUM on my Kubuntu computer is messed up somehow?
