Master Volume Control Issue

Hey all,

So I've been running Ubuntu 5.10 for a little while now, and I'm liking it. It mapped most of my keys on my MS Multimedia keyboard automatically, enabled my mouse wheel, so I'm pretty happy.

The one thing that sucks though is that the mast volume control does nothing. I slide it up and down, and the volume stays the same. When I alter the PCM volume though, the volume does change. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks,

Dan
