[SOLVED] Lubuntu 14.04 wake up problem

Hello

I have installed Lubuntu 14.04 on a laptop Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 1705 (made in 2006) and there is the following issue:

After it's idle for some time and the screen goes blank, it doesn't return from that state (it remains blank and the laptop must be turned off from the power button). I changed the settings in Power Manager in all ways, but no result. I have the same Linux distribution on a HP 620 laptop but there is not such problem.

-Try to upgrade to latest version (currently 14.10 or unstable 15.04)

-play with xscreensaver

-install alternative desktop environment (like xfce to get access to power settings.)

-you can try to prevent pc going to sleep mode by installing crowd computing project Folding@home that should prevent going in sleep mode.
