Lubuntu 14.04 Missing Network Manager Icon

For those of you using Lubuntu 14.04 and have been frustrated with the missing network manager applet (by default) the bug has finally been solved. I didn't find out until last evening when the information was relayed to me. I was using the accepted work around but it does not work on some computers. If you keep your computer up to date, the fix is probably already installed but you can check and install (if needed) following the information found here.

lubuntu, nm-applet
