Unhappy localisation not ok in gdm


Xubuntu dapper. Default language is ca_ES (System>Language support). gdm welcome screen always was in ca_ES. was... until changed to english after a normal update (synaptic) Almost everything is displayed in default language except gdm and gdm related menus.
I'll appreciate any advice to fix it. Thanks a lot

auto-answer: fixed!

Fixed!
After a new update involving many language related packages.
