Live Distro. Could it hurt computer?
Could using Kubuntu Live CD hurt my computer in any way? I have tried it on a computer and when I tried to install it there was an error on the disc, and I had to exit the installation and then rebooted to Windows and there was a physical memory dump and it shut down, rebooted, and did a checkdisc. Now I am trying it on another computer using AMD 64 instead of i-386. If the installation fails on this computer and the same thing happens on this computer could that be damaging the computer? Also, do you have any tips for installation?

No, a Live CD will not write anything to your HD unless you want it too. Now when initiate an installation then it's a diff story.

LiveCD's only load into memory, which would be cleared upon reboot.
