Live CD to access Debian files

Hello all,

I have Debian 3.1 installed on my PC, and most of my files are stored there.

However, sometimes I do use Ubuntu Live, mainly for its features. I am just wondering if it is possible to access the files, such as mp3 and others, while using Ubuntu Live?

If so, how? Would welcome and appreciate any suggestions.

cheers

You can mount your harddisk/partition and then access your files. For eg. if your Debian installation is in /dev/hda1, you can create a dir. in /media and mount hda1 to it.
Code:
sudo mkdir /media/hda1
sudo mount /dev/hda1 /media/hda1
You can also mount your other partitions in a similar manner.
