Linux 16.04 Printing trouble

I have been using Ubuntu for several years but I have virtually no knowledge of how Linux operates. I use Ubuntu simply to access my financial sites.

I am searching for a computer tech in NE Ohio that can solve my problem with printing.

Hi & Welcome to LQ.

Most printers work with Linux but you most likely need to install a driver for Ubuntu to see your printer.

What make and model printer do you have?

Does it operate through a usb cable or is it wireless?

Apparently I did not make myself clear. I have been using Ubuntu and printing documents from it for many years on different printers.

I have read numerous answers on various forums and tried to follow the responses, However, I do not have the knowledge to make the corrections.

Now, I am looking for a computer tech that is knowledgeable with Ubuntu that I can take the computer to be repaired. Someone, somewhere in business in Northeast Ohio.

There should be a computer repair shop in the town in which you live.

Google should be able to find a local shop for you in your area.
