kuickshow problems

I just installed kuickshow on Ubuntu box and I get

this error message if I try to run it :-
Code:
~$ kuickshow
kuickshow: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libkdeinit_kuickshow.so: undefined symbol: _ZN9KLineEdit12drawContentsEP8QPainter

I installed it following the instructions from
http://www.elijahlofgren.com/linux/u...tall-kuickshow

You seem to have some sort of mismatch between your KDE version and what Kuickshow expects to be present?

What KDE version are you running?

I gave up on kuickshow on FC6 and KDE 3.5.4-10, and I'm now using GQView instead.
