I have been warned off Gentoo as very difficult to install. Altho as you say it's very flexible does mostly everything right, I think I'll stick to Suse 10.0, for now.I'm learning a lot using it without the frustration level that comes configging a whole new distro. Suse installed without any glitches and I'm able to do most tasks without problems,except print to the windows network. That's a prob that'll be solved soon with a little help, I hope.

Even if you don't use Gentoo I'm glad your keeping an open mind about your other choices. I have nothing against SUSE, in fact I've never even used it, but I wanted to suggest to what works for me. Thanks for considering!
