Kubuntu comes with chrome desktop remote, but there's no way to use it

I've recently installed kubuntu 15.04,which, as you might know, is just ubuntu with KDE. The chrome desktop remote app cames with it by default and my intention is to use it to control my pc from my android device. Is that possible anyway? Is there any better solution?

The problem is, when i click to share my desktop on the app, it starts to download the host chrome-remote-desktop.deb. and says that I should install it and click ok. Then I install it, but no matter how, it seens that the app never sees that is already installed and keep warming to install before click ok.

So, the fact is, i can't install chrome-remote-desktop. Is there other options? I want it easier as possible. Thanks!

Consider using edit to posts instead of another post.

The chrome remote desktop ought to be an extension not a debian package shouldn't it?

If it really is a deb package then save it and run it as root maybe.
