ksh/pdksh in ubuntu


I've just bought a dell laptop 6400 with pre-installed ubuntu 7.04.
I cant install my other software in linux as it doesnt have ksh install. How can I install ksh/pdksh in my laptop?

open you synaptics pakage manager and install it. that is the apt-get program. and make sure you use sudo also type this to find out if you have ksh sudo /bin/ksh if it says not found then go to you admin area and find you program installer I believe it is synaptics make sure you are online. With a fast conection. it will then down load it install it etc.You know I am going to have to install this 7.10 because all I see is tuns of questions about theses debian systems. if you cant find the pakage manager open a terminal and type sudo synaptics this will only work if you are logged in as the super user other wise it will propt you for the sudo passward. if you are using the KDE desktop then click the kde then system the package manger then type in your password open the manager then do a update then look for you program there is a little search button in the package manager
