Kernel upgrade lost virtualbox guest system


Since a kerel upgrade my Virtual box guest system wont run.Virtual box
advises- '/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup' but this file doesn't exist.
I am running Ubuntu 2.6.28-13-generic.

Grateful for any help

You need to recompile the vboxdrv kernel module.
So you need to reinstall Virtual box

Thanks repo.
I have reinstalled and now have Virtualbox 3, however Synaptic says it is installed but is not
visible in the drop down menu's and when trying to run from the command line I get the response- not installed.

Again grateful for any help.
