Kernel stopped Loading. (2.6.22-14)


the title says it all I believe... my Kernel stopped working out of the blue. I havent used my Linux for 4 days... ever since This problem that drove my mad. today I just turned it on... I see the splash screen but at about 50% it turns into a black screen with the blinking underline thing (like its waiting for input) but I cant type or do anything.

Choose the "recovery mode" option in grub - brings you up in single user node without the splash. Hopefully you didn't go messing with that.

You'll get to see all the messages, and where it actually dies.
