Question kdevelop interface designer doesn't run

I'm testdriving kdevelop to see if it fulfills our IDE needs.

When I try to run the interface designer (kdevdesigner), it crashes.

This is the backtrace:
Code:

I noticed that when ran from the console, I get this output:

Code:
$ kdevdesigner
QPainter::begin: Cannot paint null pixmap
QPainter::setPen: Will be reset by begin()
KCrash: Application 'kdevdesigner' crashing...
Hope that helps

It's solved!

Short answer:

go to /usr/share/apps/
link kdevelop3 to kdevelop: ln -s kdevelop3 kdevelop

I saw the answer here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...postid=1625635
