kaffeine installation error - X

Hello. I am writing to you cause i got a problem installing kaffeine 0.8.3 on my kubuntu OS. Here's the thing: i went ahead and deleted the old 0.7 kaffeine version that i had, that went well. So i went to download the new version, uncompressed it and type './configure' to begin the installation. Sounds simple right? Now, after several lines are displayed, i get this error:

Code:
checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!
I remember that i couldn't install google earth cause something with X too. But i dropped it cause i installed it on other linux distos like slackware and fedora.

How does one fix this? Thanks for the help, LQ rules!!!

You need to install xorg development package - in Debian this is xserver-xorg-dev.

I did install them. In my case, i got running kubuntu on this machine, so i went ahead and ran:
'apt-get install xserver-xorg-dev'
That didn't do the trick, i get the exact same error. I am taking a wild guess here, but don't i need now to tell the installer where these files where put? Correct me if i am wrong, probably i am. I read while researching that perhaps i needed to install these packages as well: kdebase-dev, x-dev & libx11-dev. The error i get is the following:
'ERROR: Could not find xine-lib >= 1.0.2.'
So i just went to download this file: 'xine-lib-1.1.4.tar.bz2', and i am in the process of installing it, you know, the ./configure, make and make install bussiness. Jejeje.

Well, that downloading and installing worked, and i had to do some extra installing of something called paranoia something, so i went just ahead and now i got my upgraded kaffeine.
