Kaffeine goes mad when i try to use it, throws up error and opens up lots of itself

I'm using KDE.

Kaffeine worked fine with Hoary, just installed Breezy and when i try to watch a DVD (i have installed the codecs e.t.c.) or try to play a sound file Kaffeine goes mad and keeps flashing up an error box saying:-

"resource busy or unavailable"

When i say goes mad i mean that it seems to open lots of instances of itself in the Panel, for ex. instead of Kaffeine [1] in the panel it sometimes goes as high as Kaffeine [73] or thereabouts, before i can stopit.

Mplayer works fine though, would like to know how to get Mplayer to play in widescreen if you know how ,like Kaffeine does, when it works.

Thanks

Eric
