Internet via Dialup on Dapper

Hello all,

Just recently installed Ubuntu Dapper. I am having problems in configuring dial up internet on it.
I have done the following:

1) installed slamr module and sl-modem-daemon
2) successfully queried the modem via kppp
3) Apparently connected to the internet via kppp.

However i am unable to browse any webpages or successfully ping http://www.google.com

Thanks

Problem solved. Everything was configured properly but my LAN device was working in parallel. I just disabled it and I'm able to browse now.

Thanks
