In theory...
-Download 'Mount ISO image 0.9.1' from this page:
http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Deskt...age-2216.shtml (Installation instructions are at the bottom)
-Install.
-Download 'Ubuntu Netbook Remix' from here:
http://www.ubuntu.com/GetUbuntu/download-netbook (It's a .img file)
-Convert the .img file to a .iso file with 'Mount ISO image 9.0.1'
-Burn to a CD
I haven't tried this, but I have installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix to an ASUS EEE without a hitch from a USB stick. Is there a particular reason you need to install from CD/DVD? The netbook I installed it on didn't have an optical drive, USB of one form or another was the only option, and it was simple.
