anexation LQ Newbie Registered: Jul 2012 Posts: 1 Rep:	Installed ubuntu 12.04 hangs on checking battery state i installed ubuntu 12.04 and it hangs on checking battery state. any help would be appriciated. graphics card - intel 82q963/q965 ubuntu is installed onto a 8 gb usb card. if that helps at all Iv'e tried replacing quiet splash with nomodeset and safe graphics mode Last edited by anexation; 07-30-2012 at 01:11 PM.
