Installed 12.04 Pricise! May I the only one with this its a mess?

I am not a Linux Guru! I started using Linux a while ago and I felt in love with it!

I decided to installed 12.04 (just to be on higher kernel from fresh installation) and now I testing/working between 10.04 and 12.04 and I think 12.04 Desktop environment is a mess!

I think they have include some thing I believe they were missing from Microsoft windows but they mess it up on the way thinking they have to come up with something new! It you get something that is even great with not improve it? Why do you need to come up with something different? And why try to have something like is for a Tablet when you are on PC?

May I the only one that dislike this new S**t? :-O

May be the time I need to move to another distribution? I like the idea to use slackware I just dont like to be spending huge amount of time trying to fix things on my OS like I did with debian at the beginning!
