init.d script not working

Hi,

I have a init.d script that looks like this:

#!/bin/sh -e

v4lctl -c /dev/video0 setnorm 1
v4lctl -c /dev/video1 setnorm 1
v4lctl -c /dev/video2 setnorm 1
v4lctl -c /dev/video3 setnorm 1

When I run this script manually it works; but when I reboot, the script does not seem to work. Could this be a timing issue? If v4lctl is not loaded and this script is executed the commads will not work - right? So is there a way around this problem?

Got it! init.d is not used for personal .sh files. I put my code in rc.local and it works perfectly.
