Huge Test On Certain Apps (K Apps)

I have an issue with certain applications and huge text. I think it's mainly apps that are associated with KDE, but not sure. Here's a few screens of what I'm talking about:

Screen 1

Screen 2

Screen 3

What I want to do is make the text smaller and more comparable to the size/font that most of the other apps use in Gnome. I need some help!

Thanks,
br00tal

Go to

The Start Menu --> KDE Contol Center.

Then under the Appearance and Themes tab, click on Fonts.
Changing the fonts there should solve your problem.

See, I don't have KDE installed, though. Just a few libraries and such that are required for the few K apps that I want to run. Now I'm thinking that it's not just K apps and such, but programs that use a certain GUI device (such as GTK, QT, etc.). aMule also has huge text and I think that's written for wxGTK or wxWidgets.

Ooops,
That is the default KDE look though.
I think that will require a lot of changes to be done.

Anyways, what is the distribution?

I'm running Ubuntu 5.04. Thanks for the help!

For Skype you need qt3-qtconfig (Skype is not a KDE app)

For the others you need kcontrol, the kde control center...it is probably gonna install some kde libs as well, but if you've got enough space on your disk you won't mind.

With both you will be able to change the font(size) and some other stuff.

Hope this helps.

Both are in the repositories by the way.

angkor, you are the man/woman! I guess I had kcontrol installed, probably from when I installed Kbear or something. Fixed the issue right away with it. Cheers!
