Check and see if the tuner is recognised by Ubuntu, with it unplugged, run
Code:
dmesg | tail -20
plug it in and re-run the command, what's the difference?

Play Bonny!

It looks like your Tuner is recognised as a new device being being plugged in, but not identified by the system. I was assuming it was a DVB-T device which would show up in the dmesg output and ask for a firmware file to be loaded from /lib/firmware. I'm not so sure now. I can't see the spec for your device from the link you gave. Is it DVB-T? I can't see any reference on the box photographs.

Play Bonny!

I can't make out the Device type,But I am pretty much sure it is not a DVB-T, Since that format is not supported in my country
