You could start by searching Google for a howto, which would take you to a page like this one. Check if one of those situations apply to you, try out the suggested and when you encounter problems, that's when you turn to LQ for answers. LinuxQuestions is not the place to come to looking for step by step guides or howtos, those can be found in abundant numbers on the internet using Google.
Actually Eric, I feel his pain. I have been googling this topic for six days now to no avail. the link you provided work great if you are using ubuntu, but he and I are looking for answers on how to solve this on ubuntu server. which has no gui and ever "how to" I have found is for ubuntu and is done through some windowing system. That's completely useless for us. I would suggest that if you have nothing useful to contribute please refrain from mocking or patronizing comments. He has googled. I have googled. We have come here for answers, not to be flamed.
please tell us which howto (eg provide URL) you have followed and what problems you encountered (eg no X11 to run some specific setup gui). Then we can help you achieve what you are trying to do.
Evo2.
