How to revert to stock dapper gdm theme

Hi,
I one time installed XFCE over Ubuntu Dapper Drake using the command
Code:

sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop
. It also changed my display manager theme to an xubuntu one. Now I want to change it back to whatever it came as originally with Dapper. I tried uninstalling xubuntu-desktop and xubuntu-desktop-settings but now the display manager complains with an error :-

Quote:

no file found:/usr/share/gdm/themes/xubuntu/xubuntu.xml
or something to this effect.

Can anyone tell me how to get back the default Dapper Display Manager theme back?

Thanks

There's an option in the gdm display panel somewhere to configure it. It will ask you for the root password. There you should be able to change the display theme back to the original, assuming it's still installed on your system.

There may be other ways to configure it, perhaps in the gnome controls, but I don't use gnome so I can't say for sure.
