I have ubuntu 11.04 and suse linux desktop enterprise 11 on my laptop.
I want to install windows xp.But when I put windows bootable disk on my disk drive and boot windows installing , after check system and starting to install a blue page is shown and warning that restart your computer and run CHKDSK /F.
I can not format my notbook and install windows XP.please help me.
I format my notebook with Hiren BootCD 14.1 and boot it with bootable windows xp disk. But after start installing this screen is shown(that attached to post).please help me.
You will probably need to remove the Ubuntu Grub from the master boot record. Go to the link below and scroll down to post # 10, run the command suggested. Boot with your Ubuntu CD, open a Terminal and enter the command suggested there. You need to change the "su -" to sudo as you are using Ubuntu.
EDIT: I just re-read your initial post and am not clear as to what you intend. Do you want to keep Ubuntu and Suse Linux and just add xp? or do you just want xp? If you just want xp, the method at the link above should do it. If you want to keep Suse Linux and or Ubuntu, you will need to reinstall their bootloader(s) if you install xp as it will overwrite the mbr and will render Suse and Ubuntu unbootable until you reinstall Grub or modify the xp bootloader manually.
Distribution: Debian Wheezy, Jessie, Sid/Experimental, playing with LFS.

Did you delete every partition and format everything as NTFS? Windows would probably recognise the drive as a Raw drive, meaning unformatted, but that's ok. I have done this a few times, 3 weeks ago was the last time, and using gparted never had a problem.
You could download, obviously on another computer, DBAN (Dariks Boot and Nuke) and this will wipe the drive totally. Then try installing.
