How to remove black bars (change screen position) on TV display using xrandr?

Hello,

I have an old laptop connected to a CRT TV using an S-Video cable. However, there appear black bars on the left, right, top, and bottom sides of the TV. Using Windows, I removed these black bars by using the Intel TV Wizard to zoom in the display and adjust the vertical/horizontal positions of the screen so that the black bars disappear. Is there any way to do something similar to this using xrandr in Ubuntu? I've tried using the --scale option, but this does something different.
