hmmm...
as i already said on post #80
i got this error messege

ns:
[code omitted because of length]
: invalid command name "Queue/LTEQueue"
while executing
"Queue/LTEQueue set drop_front_ 0"

and then on post #81 you said i should start from unpacked ns-allinone-2.33.tar.gz and read all post
so i start to reinstall ns-2.33 from scratch

this is what i do:

sudo dpkg -i gcc41-compat-4.1.2_i386.deb g++41-compat-4.1.2_i386.deb
tar zxfv ns-allinone-2.33.tar.gz
cd ns-allinone-2.33/tk8.4.18/ && wget ftp://ftp.swin.edu.au/gentoo-portage...astevent.patch
patch -p0 < tk-8.4-lastevent.patch
cd ../ && export CC=gcc41 CXX=g++41 && ./install
cd ns-2.33/ && mv ns ns233 && make clean && mv Makefile Makefile.org
svn checkout http://lte-model.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ lte-model-read-only
mkdir project && cd lte-model-read-only/ && sh checkin
cd ../
cd project/
ln -s ../lte-model-read-only/*.h .
ln -s ../lte-model-read-only/dlqueue.cc
cd ../
gedit Makefile
make

and then i try to run ns from terminal using command "ns"
but this messege error still appear

ns:
[code omitted because of length]
: invalid command name "Queue/LTEQueue"
while executing
"Queue/LTEQueue set drop_front_ 0"

and then i try to install the package lte-ns-2.33-ubuntu10_i386.deb, as you said on post # 72
but when i try to run ns again that messege still appear
i don't know where i do wrong

$ ns : That's the corrupt ns from your own build.
The package provides /usr/local/bin/ns-lte

Which means you must type : $ ns-lte eyana.tcl

how to get the LTE module
Please read the answer to you, #75. There is no such thing as an 'LTE module'.
The lte "module" is the executable 'ns' with the lte files compiled into 'ns'.
Install : See posts posts #2 and #4.

Post # 98, @djeldum : Welcome to LQ.

Do not do any ns2 commands as root.
Probably delete ns-allinone-2.33/ and start from scratch.
And then please do all commands as unprivileged user.
And if you do a 'make install' in ns-allinone-2.33/ns-2.33/ : Use sudo.

"No such file or directory" : The first command is always 'pwd'.
$ pwd <Enter> : Will reply with your location.
If ns-allinone-2.33/ is in say Desktop/, you will have to do :
$ cd Desktop/ns-allinone-2.33/tk8.4.18/

About LTE install, Ubuntu : Please also use commands in post #4 :
0) cd project/
1) ln -s ../lte-model-read-only/*.h ./
2) ln -s ../lte-model-read-only/dlqueue.cc

ok, now i changed line 321.. with lines :

extern "C" {
extern int snprintf (char *__restrict __s, size_t __maxlen,
__const char *__restrict __format, ...)
__THROWNL __attribute__ ((__format__ (__printf__, 3, 4)));
#if defined(__cplusplus)
}

and it works , i think, but now i have error random.cc does not return type:
tools/random.cc:50: error: ‘RANDOM_RETURN_TYPE’ does not name a type

and function in random.cc looks like:

RANDOM_RETURN_TYPE
random() GCC_THROW
{
printf("The C library random() has been called in ns.\nThis library function is not portable (it produces different streams\non different computers), please use ns's Random::uniform() instead.\n");
abort();
return 0;
}

what to do know? i can't find anything :S
sorry again.

Please start from scratch in a new directory with a new unpacked
