I am doing a comparison between AODV/DSDV/DSR/OLSR/ZRP using BonnMotion and one of their scenarios (using four variants of TCP).

I am doing it for my undergrad degree project and its based upon the Japanese Nuclear disaster.

There is an enormous amount of stuff out there.

One thing I would suggest, and I have messed a lot with various combos, use Ubuntu 10.04, NS2 2.33 and BonnMotion 2.0.

All of these things are compatible, well supported by some amazingly smart people (Toilers website, Aschenbruck, et al and here)

# 109.

Sorry, not a subject I know anything about.

Suggest : Have a look at the ZRP examples : zrp-examples-2012.tar.bz2
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7S2...it?usp=sharing
... to know if there is anything usable.

And : You use Google to find some documentation for your subject.

Please use Google .. measure control traffic and data traffic of ZRP ns2 ..

Learn to understand the tracefile.
ZRP adds extra fields to it
These are the control packets.
Do you know what it is about them you want to measure?
Throughput, jitter, delay, etc?
If you were doing this for real, what mathematical calculations would you generate?
Can you write Tcl code?

# 114 : Not quite clear what you mean, oll.tcl is not a zrp file.

Do not expect the zrp patched 'ns' to do anything but zrp tcl files.
But then again : It depends. A good zrp build can do 'ns oll.tcl'.

Three tests :
1) An unpatched ns-2.33 : $ ns-orig oll.tcl
2) A zrp patched ns-2.33: $ ns-zrp oll.tcl
3) An unpatched ns-2.34 : $ ns234 oll.tcl
All three create OK nam and tr files. The two first end with
"SORTING LISTS ...DONE!
Client 6: Handoff Attempted
END SIMULATION!!!!"

The third ends with :
"SORTING LISTS ...DONE!
END SIMULATION!!!!"

Results are often different with different OS's. Which is yours ?
Question 1) $ cat /etc/*release* <Enter>
Question 2) $ uname -m <Enter>
..... Please show the replies in a new post.

! If you have more questions not related to zrp : Please start a new thread.
This thread is about zrp only !

Dear Mr.knudfl, may you help me by modifying on oll.tcl file to avoid the errors in order to evaluate the performance of ZRP.

Thanks

What do you mean ? ? 'oll.tcl' is not a zrp file : No Agent/ZRP text.

Please read the zrp examples : Post #110 >>> zrp-examples-2012.tar.bz2
.. to know how a zrp tcl file is written.

And please read the ZRP threads to know how to build ns-2.33 with zrp :
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/tags/zrp/
Also : Please install the package zrp-ns-2.33-ubu1010_i386.deb

ZRP

Dear Mr.knudfl, I was run two examples in ZRP in #109 and got the two trace file result in the links below. is it true? then how can I calculate the following metrics in ZRP:
1-normalising routing load
2-packet delivery ratio
3-average End-to-End delay
4-throughput

may you have awk script to calculate those metrics (especially normalising routing load).my ubuntu version is 10.10 32bit.

I appreciate your effort with me and thank you so much.
