how to accept license agreement when installing java
 
this might seem a stupid question to most of you here but i've just changed job and the pc at the new office is using linux and i've never have experience using one before. i tried installing java and i have to accept the license agreement but i don't know how to do it. can somebody pls help? below is what the screen looks like. i tried clicking the ok button but it doesn't work.

Hi, and welcome to LQ.

If the page only shows an OK box, just hit enter. The only other option is to quit.

Some times the terminal can not render the page correctly (In my experience) and the button is not where the mouse and display expect it ("work in progress", IMO).

thanks for the reply but i tried hitting the enter button and it didn't work. any other suggestions?

Agreeing to java license
 
I've run into this when installing java from scratch. Just pressing <Enter> will not necessarily execute the <OK> button, unless it's highlighted. To highlight press the Tab key until <OK> is highlighted, then press <Enter>.
